It seems like the closer we get to Election Day, the crazier this election cycle is getting: The FBI is (again) investigating her emails? He touched that woman’s what?
If you feel like you’ve just about had it, and you fear the long-term effects all this may have on the country, grab your favorite Nasty Woman and Bad Hombres and head up to Fort Lewis College for the Life-Long Learning Lecture Series’ presentation of “Outrageous Politics in the 2016 Campaign.”
Paul DeBell, FLC assistant professor of political science, will discuss his theory of how the contemporary predominance of outrageous political conflict may have unintended consequences for democracy. He will offer up examples from what’s been going on during this campaign as well as from American politics more broadly.
The presentation will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, in Noble Hall, Rm. 130. This is a free event.
