Durango’s Liver Down the River will be serving up a little psychafunkadeligrass Friday night at the Animas City Theatre, 128 E. College Drive, as it kicks off its “Life You Love” album release tour.

The band is Patrick Storen on mandolin; Emily Aguirre-Winter on fiddle, viola and vocals; Dylan Ruckel on guitar and vocals; Tyler Rice on banjo, keyboards and vocals; Derek Abt on bass and vocals and Carter Colia on drums and washboard. Formed in 2012, they specialize in mixing psychadelic bluegrass and funk in their music, while also using their life stories and adventures as inspiration.

Opening for Liver Down the River will be The Outskirts from Durango.

The show starts at 9, and doors open at 8:30.

This is an 18 and older show. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 the day of the show. Get yours at Southwest Sound, www.animascitytheatre.comat and at the ACT box office. For more information, call 799-2281.
