2020 Presidential candidate Seth Moulton speaks out on his alien-invasion policy

by Amanda Push

Presidential candidate Rep. Seth Moulton is making a stand on his alien-invasion policy (intergalactic-foreign policy?) on the chance that he finds himself behind the White House desk in 2020.

“I would not build a wall between here and Mars,” Moulton told BuzzFeed News’ AM to DM. “I would not do that. No, you got to start — and this is serious, guys — you got to start with diplomacy. You always have to start with diplomacy.”

Don’t mistake his affinity toward negotiation for weakness, though. The former Marine and member of the Massachusetts 6th congressional district is no pansy when it comes to a possible extraterrestrial invasion, and if things were to go south, well…

“If the meeting goes well, then that’s all good. If the meeting starts to not go so well, then, by the way, that burger is— that’s the last aliens who visited,” he joked in his interview.

Obviously, the hosts of AM to DM asked Moulton more than just his stance on alien relations such as student debt and Nancy Pelosi’s role as the Speaker of the House, but we think it’s about time someone addressed this hot topic issue as most politicians seem moot on the subject. In fact, we’re still waiting for responses from other presidential candidates as to their posture on how to best deal with visitors from another galaxy.
