There’s something particularly macabre about watching a horror film about princes of hell while getting disturbingly high on a product with the word “sweet” in its name, but that’s exactly what I did with the Sweet CO2 one gram hybrid cartridge. Welcome to Halloween, folks!
We’re big fans of Sweet CO2 and their products for various reasons, we were psyched to get the chance to review one of their hybrid cartridges.
The company uses C02 extraction for its products because it’s cleaner and safer. While Sweet CO2 doesn’t have its own grow, it sources flower for the oil from local operations. These days, the Durango business supplies most of the dispensaries in the region and across the state with pure, potent, and flavorful C02-extracted cannabis oil.
This hybrid cartridge retails for $61 and clocks in at 79.3 percent THC. So it’ll knock you straight beneath your couch cushions if you’re not careful. The company uses a 510 thread on this GlassCCell cartridge so it will fit with most vapes as it is the most common type of cartridge.
When I picked up this cartridge and saw the THC content, I decided to screw myself over by smoking this whilst watching the one horror film I’d been planning to avoid watching for eternity: “Hereditary.” I don’t know exactly how this wild hair came about, but I knew if I was going to go down watching this terrifying movie, I was going to go down good and stoned. Also, it’s COVID-19 and I have nothing better to do.
Turns out, this potent cartridge did the trick by sufficiently making me more terrified of “Hereditary” than anything 2020 has to throw. Just kidding — 2020 is a scary movie in itself but this Sweet CO2 cartridge was up there.
Why did I love this one gram hybrid cartridge so much? While I love vaping, sometimes you end up with a cartridge that ends up gummy and gross after smoking it. Not the most pleasant of experiences if you’re looking for a smooth smoke. Thankfully, that was not the case with this Sweet CO2 cartridge.
The cartridge had an earthy and clean flavor (not surprising considering how Sweet CO2 makes their products) and was, therefore, a pleasant smoke. I felt like I could sufficiently snack on all the Halloween candy I had exclusively bought for myself (yes, I am a fully-functioning adult) without compromising on all the flavors I was shoving in my mouth.
I simultaneously recommend and don’t recommend getting as high as I did while watching a horror film. The head high I experienced on this was *french kiss.* I love feeling like my noggin is floating on a different planet. It’s relaxing and the momentary dissociation from Earth is an experience like no other. On the other hand, I am pretty sure I left my bowels on the couch when I went to bed because, well, “Hereditary.” Turns out the princes of hell are not triflers.
The bottom line is this – if you’re looking for a smooth smoke and a high that will make you feel like you’re in space, you better make your way to your local dispensary to pick up this cartridge. All I’m saying is maybe hold off on watching any scary movies.
