Death Cab for Cutie is coming to ABQ for all you emos

by Amanda Push

Hipsters far and wide: Hear, hear.

Death Cab for Cutie, along with My Brightest Diamond, will help you relive the decent parts of your adolescence via a performance March 31 at the Kiva Auditorium in Albuquerque. If you haven’t bought tickets yet, woe is you. It’s already sold out, unfortunately. Sorry, guys.

If you’re scratching your head trying to remember just who Death Cab for Cutie is, let us refresh your memory. Death Cab for Cutie was the indie rock band heartthrob of the 2000s, and now all those emo fans have grown up and still love those moody musicians, dark clothes and all.

Their Albuquerque concert is part of a promotion of their latest album, “Thank You for Today,” which came out August 2018. It was the band’s first album made without Chris Walla, a founding member of the band.
