Durango Labor Day partyLabor Day is celebrated the first Monday in September and honors the American Labor Movement, without which we wouldn’t have an eight-hour work-day or weekends off. Celebrate by guzzling brewskis and dancing in the streets two days in a row. The Kirk James Band will play from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday and The Pete Guilaini Band will play from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday. Festivity proceeds benefit Building Homes for Heroes.

Get out your hog and rideThe Durango Rally at Four Corners is a GO! Everyone thought there wouldn’t be a motorcycle rally this year, but Trevor Bird, new owner of Durango Harley-Davidson made it happen. Labor Day weekend will feature poker chip runs, live music by bands like Snake Oil and Code of the West, BBQ, and more in locations spanning Rusty Shovel Saloon to Durango Harley-Davidson to Sky Ute Casino.
