Have a Halloweed snack or two, why dontcha?

Don’t go hungry this October. Make these stoner-appropriate snacks instead.

It’s that spooky time of year again, when your neighbor’s little goblins are working your last nerve (mostly because you ate all the candy you bought for trick-or-treaters), and your late-night cravings are more insatiable than ever.

Halloween and stoner munchies are basically the equivalent of zombies and brains, or peanut butter and jelly, so why not make your munchies a little more magical this year with some devilishly delicious, cannabis-infused snack recipes that are perfect for satisfying those late-night cravings during Halloween movie marathons? So channel your inner Guy Fieri (we kid, we kid…maybe channel Martha and Snoop instead) and get to cooking up some weed-filled snacks.

“Witch’s Brew” Guacamole
Ingredients:
2 ripe avocados
1/4 cup diced onions
1/4 cup diced tomatoes
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1 jalapeño, seeds removed and minced (adjust heat to your liking)
Juice of 1 lime
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon cannabis-infused olive oil Salt and pepper to taste
Tortilla chips for dipping

Instructions:
In a bowl, mash the avocados to your desired level of chunkiness.
Stir in the onions, tomatoes, cilantro, jalapeño, and garlic.
Add lime juice, cannabis-infused olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Chill for 30 minutes and serve with tortilla chips. This spooky guacamole is sure to cast a spell on your taste buds!

“Mummy’s Munchies” Cannabis-Infused Popcorn
Ingredients:

1/2 cup popcorn kernels
2 tablespoons cannabis-infused coconut oil
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to your preferred level of spookiness)

Instructions:
Pop the popcorn kernels using your preferred method (stove, microwave, or air popper).
In a separate bowl, mix the cannabis-infused coconut oil and melted butter.
In a large mixing bowl, drizzle the cannabis-infused oil and butter mixture over the popped popcorn. Toss to coat evenly.
In a small bowl, combine the salt, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Sprinkle this spooky seasoning mix over the popcorn and toss again.
Enjoy while watching your favorite Halloween flicks! Just remember, this popcorn bites back!

“Frankenstein’s Finger Food” Chocolate-Covered Strawberries
Ingredients:
12 fresh strawberries
4 ounces cannabis-infused dark chocolate1 ounce white chocolate (for decoration)
Green food coloring Edible candy eyes

Instructions:
Rinse and dry the strawberries thoroughly.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the cannabis-infused dark chocolate in 20-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.

Dip each strawberry into the melted dark chocolate, coating them halfway.

Place them on a parchment-lined tray.

Refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.

In a separate bowl, melt the white chocolate in the same manner.

Add a few drops of green food coloring to the melted white chocolate, creating a “Frankenstein green” color.

Using a small piping bag or a ziplock bag with a corner cut off, pipe stitches and a mouth onto each chocolate-cov-ered strawberry.

Place edible candy eyes above the mouth to create the “Frankenstein” look.
Chill for a few minutes to set the decorations and then serve these delightful, monstrous morsels!

“Pumpkin Patch” Cannabis-Infused Pumpkin Seeds
Ingredients:
2 cups pumpkin seeds, cleaned and dried
2 tablespoons cannabis-infused olive oil
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

In a bowl, toss the pumpkin seeds with cannabis-infused olive oil, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well coated.

Spread the seasoned seeds evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Roast in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden brown.

Allow them to cool before munching on these crunchy and lightly spiced pumpkin seeds.

“Vampire Slayer” Caprese Cannabis-Infused Skewers
Ingredients:
Cherry tomatoes
Fresh mozzarella balls
Fresh basil leaves
Cannabis-infused balsamic glaze Toothpicks or mini skewers

Instructions:
Assemble your Caprese skewers by threading a cherry tomato, a fresh mozzarella ball, and a fresh basil leaf onto each toothpick or mini skewer.

Drizzle cannabis-infused balsamic glaze over the skewers for that extra bite.

Chill the skewers in the refrigerator for a short while before serving. The combination of flavors and the hint of cannabis will make these skewers irresistible.
