No one is saying marijuana is a bad thing – far from it. But, like everything in life we could all learn to make our use of it a little greener.
That’s why we’re excited that the fourth annual Cannabis Sustainability Symposium, put on by the Cannabis Certification Council, is kicking off October 4, in downtown Denver.
According to their website, “The Cannabis Sustainability Symposium is a nationally recognized four year-running event that helps educate attendees on the latest tools, techniques and technologies for efficient and safe cannabis production.”
“Sustainable business practices go far beyond recycling cans and turning the lights off at night. Efficient water use, biodegradable packaging and knowing your partners’ ethics are all important steps to cutting your environmental footprint,” Ben Gelt, chairperson of the Cannabis Certification Council, told Westword.
