SHEL helps close out season’s Burger and a Band Night

by DGO Web Administrator

Growing up with siblings, you tend to fight … a lot. Or, in the case of the sisters from SHEL, you form a band.

SHEL, a group of four sisters from Fort Collins, will play at James Ranch’s last Burger and a Band Night of the summer.

SHEL, who wowed the Buckley Park crowd with their 2015 Thursday Concert in the Park performance, is an acronym for the beginning letters of the band members’ names: Sarah (violin, bass, guitar and vocals), Hannah (keyboard, piano and vocals), Eva (mandolin, electric guitar and lead vocals) and Liza (drums, beatbox, percussion and vocals). Their alternative music, backed up with classical training, ensures a musical feast to go along with your meal.

The women will play from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at James Ranch, 33846 U.S. Highway 550, about 10 minutes north of Durango.

Tickets are $55, and include a farm-to-table burger, side, drink and reserved seating. Get yours at James Ranch Market or www.shelatjamesranch.brownpapertickets.com. Reserved seating is necessary.
