UFOs are real. OK, duh, we already knew that but the US Navy is FINALLY agreeing with us.
The US Navy confirmed footage showing UFOs zipping around is indeed real, according to CNN. Of course, they’re not saying what those flying saucers are or even what they think they are but they’re not about to be spewing alien theories any time soon.
In the three clips of declassified military video are “unidentified aerial phenomena,” Navy spokesperson Joe Gradisher told CNN.
According to CNN, the footage was released by To The Stars Academy of Arts & Sciences between December 2017 and March 2018. The footage shows fast, mysterious-looking objects zooming across a sensor screen.
One of the videos is from 2004. During the clip, sensors on a plane focus in on an unidentified target before it flew out of the frame. The UFO was too quick for military sensors though as the equipment was unable to locate it again.
In the 2015 footage, the video captures the conversation between fighter pilots trying to figure out what is going on.
“It’s a f****g drone, bro,” one pilot said.
“My gosh! They’re all going against the wind.”
“Look at that thing, dude!”
The US Navy is becoming more open about UFO sightings. Earlier this year, the military branch created a formal procedure for pilots to report these strange encounters.
The decision was in response to “a series of sightings of unknown, highly advanced aircraft intruding on Navy strike groups and other sensitive military formations and facilities,” the service told POLITICO.
Just as long as we all agree that SOMETHING is going on.
