It’s the moment a bunch of local, budding improv comedians have been working and waiting for the past month: The Durango DOT Comedy Slamfest.
Comedic supremacy is on the line as the newbies are split into two teams and compete in front of a panel of judges as they vie for the coveted – and completely awesome – champion mask.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8 Saturday at the Durango Arts Center, 802 East Second Ave. Admission is $10, with $2 Ska drafts available.
