Get your bliss on with kirtan in Durango

by DGO Web Administrator

Blue Lotus Feet is offering you the opportunity to go within with its Sanskrit chanting from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Studio 10 in the Smiley Building, 1309 East Third Ave.

The evening of musical chants – or kirtan – is based on ancient chants that will help you quiet your mind from all the craziness that is no doubt banging around in there.

Musicians include Cheryl Birchard (vocals, harmonium, guitar), Lisa Byrne (didgeridoo, percussion, flute), Laurie Gambacorta (vocals, percussion, harmonium), Matthew Moon (violin), Josh Hoffman of the band Eldergrown (bass and vocals) and Vishnu (percussion).

The cost is $10.
