It’s almost time for lazy summer days spent floating down the Animas River and sipping beer. Ska’s summer seasonal, Mexican Logger, hits shelves again April 6. This Mexican lager-style beer is a huge local favorite – Durangoans wait eagerly for its return every spring. To keep up with demand, Ska Brewing has increased production of the beer by 20 percent.
The Logger has a light to medium body and a crisp, clean taste; it is perfect for warm weather day drinking. The beer is available through September in all of Ska’s regions of distribution, which are largely Colorado, Southern California, Chicago, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.
Come celebrate the end of winter at the Mexican Logger release party April 6 from 5to 8 p.m., at Ska headquarters (225 Girard St.) with live music from Durango’s own gypsy band Carute Roma. Parking will be limited, so save some gas and ride your bike!
